Aspartic acid is a non essential amino acid found in small quantities within all cells of the body. Like all amino acids, Aspartic acid can be found in two natural forms called isomers - D aspartic acid and L aspartic acid. The L- form is the most commonly found isomer, but it’s the D form that is currently causing considerable excitement and interest as a supplement.
